En el presente trabajo se describe una técnica personal para la fijación artroscópica de la fractura de las espinas tibiales, con la que se han tratado un total de 14 casos, desde marzo de 1990 a mayo de 1994. La técnica se basa en la fijación del fragmento óseo mediante hilos de sutura, que pasan por la base del LCA, y se fijan en el tejido subcutáneo de la tuberosidad tibial, sin que sea necesario perforar la meseta tibial ni el cartílago de crecimiento para pasar dichos hilos de sutura. La técnica se ha demostrado útil tanto en niños y adolescentes como en personas adultas.

Arthroscopic internal fixation of the tibial spine. A personal method for the arthroscopic fixation of the tibial eminence fractures which was used in 14 cases, from march of 1990 until may of 1994 is described in this work. The method is based on the fixation of the ossoeous fragment by suture threads which go through the base of the LCA and become fixed in the subcutaneous tissue of the tibial tuber without boring the proximal tibia or the cartilage of growth to pass the suture threads. The method has desmostrated to be useful in children, adolescents and adults.
